We have worked with Celia for at least 4 or 5 years and she
has been a great help to us. She has found us some great au
pairs and is always very tuned into our family’s needs and
sensitive to our concerns, i.e. the well-being of our children.
She is easy to talk to and very helpful with all the various
issues that arise when an Au Pair comes to stay with your
family.
I have recommend Celia many times and will contine to do so,
without reservation. She is always the first person we call
and she is always welcome in our house!

When
I first met Celia, I was more like a lost little duckling
than a young woman abroad looking for adventure. I had come
to Ireland, which was quite unknown to me at the time, to
become an au pair in Cork. When it turned out my au pair family
and I weren't exactly a match, I had to move out and find
myself somewhere to stay in a big strange city! I stayed in
a hostel for a week and during that time I contacted the Au
Pair agency and I really believe somebody really liked me
that day: I got Celia on the phone. She offered me to stay
at her house until I found a new family and because it felt
like the right thing to do, I traveled all the way from Cork
to Mayo.
It only took me 10 minutes with Celia in the car for me
to know that I absolutely loved her. She took me in as one
of her own and I had the most wonderful time ever. Even when
I moved away to a new family in Offaly, Celia kept in touch
and made me feel that I wasn't alone in this country. When
the family's financial circumstances forced to move away again
after a month, Celia was there for me and welcomed me in her
house again.
All I can say is that I wouldn't have been the same person
I am now if I hadn't met Celia. Also, I never believed I could
actually find someone who is as crazy as me, ha ha!
Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to Celia. My heart took
me to England, where I am working fulltime now and living
together with my boyfriend. I never could have done it without
Celia's strength and support, however cheesy that may sound.
:)
There are only a few genuine people in the world and I guess
I was lucky to meet one.

Gabriella Campeggio
My name is Gabriella Campeggio, I was an aupair in Ireland.
I found trough the web an Aupair Agency, so I decided to take
the chance to try....
Working
as Aupair has been the best experience i have ever had. It
gave me lots of opportunity and thanks to that experience
today i have been working abroad again...
My experience as aupair has been a little unusual....I went
to Ireland when I was 23, for the first time i traveled alone
and for so long time. The family that chose me was ok, but
unfortunately our personalities did not match properly with
mine, therefore I preferred to leave that one...
At the begining, I was not reallly sure to continue as Aupair
or look for a different job in the same city I was... I was
confuse, little bit sad, alone....And then Celia' s help came.....
She worked for the agency that found the family for me...
Despite the others who worked with her, I have to reconize
that she was the only one to really take care of me...but
not only due to her job... She was involved in the situation
100% as an older sister!
While I was still in the old family, she gave to me the right
support even if I was far from her and without having met
her before... She wanted me to take 10 days of relax at her
place before taking any decision..go back to Italy, find a
job, an other family....
I have to say that I was a little bit scared to go to her
house, but did not think twice, I only wanted to leave the
family... Unfotunately when you show your disappoint, it is
difficult to share the same house...
Therefore I went to Celia... And my Irish life really started
there!
I remember right now that he first thing she did after showing
me the town where she lives and the house, was sit around
the table with a lovely cup of coffe and listen to me.. I
explained all the story, the situation with the family, my
mistakes and them too,..... and also my fear to chose an other
family....
And what she said then? I thought maybe she could have assumed
a strange behavior with me, not supporting me totaly, due
to the fact that she had contact with the family too....But
this did not influenced her behavior with me at all... and
I always will be grateful to her!
Anyway, I spend to her' s the funniest 10 days of the last
months! At first she wanted me to be totaly free..go out whenever
i wanted, eat anytime and whatever, sleep or wake up in night
or day....i felt honestly as at home!
In the meantime, while I was recovering from the unusual
experience, she was looking for an other family without putting
on me any stress.... Her opinion basically was to propose
me other families and then let me free to chose if I still
wanted to be aupair or not... And I will always remember that
she offered also to me her support, even if I would have prefered
to find a job...She is a human person..she did not have any
obligation to, eventually, support me if I was not aupair
anymore....
After maybe 1 week or more, she was knowing me better and
better, all my weak point and strongness...
One day she came with a little picture of a family who was
celebrating the first birthday of them son...
She had in the past an interview with this family and she
suggested me only to have a chat with them, because, with
the experience she had, this could have been the perfect family
for me.. young, fresh, easygoing, dynamic, funny...
And she was TOTALY right! Scared I had an interview with
them and my feeling was soon positive!
Therefore, I moved to them after a little while, spending
there 9 months in absolutely relax!!! I could not be more
lucky than I was!
When I moved to the new family, Celia's support was still
present: she often phoned me asking if I was ok or not, if
I felt as at home or as at her home :) and I had from her
this kind of support for all the time I was in Ireland....
and also when i came back to Italy, or now that I am again
abroad, we're still keep in touch, on the name of the lovely
and funny time we spend together and for the great job she
did for me.
I definitely can advice her as a link between family and
aupair..
She has a quality which is rare at this time...she is human!
She does not do her job for money or career, but because she
likes it. She like to help and support people, to take the
right decisions, to enjoy if they enjoy!
Better that this!?!?!
This was basically my experience as Aupair, that opened doors
to the work world!
It made my CV different compare to others, because of the
language, the experience of living abroad...
My feedback is absolutely positive and I recommend Celia 's
new agency to all!
Because thanks to her job I could really enjoyed to be aupair!
