HOW DOES IT WORK (STEP BY STEP
FOR THE FAMILY):
1. On receipt of your relevant documents,
an applicant is matched according to your expectations. Suitability
is based on ages of your children, location, etc. Your Host
Family Profile will be added onto our webpage for Agencies
and Au Pairs to view. You will be given a reference number
and no personal details will be show. If none of the current
Au Pairs are suitable for your family, your Host Family Profile
will be sent to our contact agencies in the EU and South Africa
and placed on our search database. We endeavor to match your
family as soon as possible.
2. Once we find a suitable candidate
for you, we inform you and offer the file for your information
via post or e-mail. Due to the shortage of supply we would
only be able to grant you 5 days in which to refuse or accept
the applicant. Please note that you are under no obligation
to accept the first offer if you do not find her suitable.
3. Once you have read and accepted
the Au Pair's file you must inform us of your decision regarding
a telephone interview, which we will arrange with the applicant
or their agency within the next few days.
4. We offer your Family file to the
applicant or their agency and request a telephone interview
on her acceptance.
5. Once the Applicant has read and
accepted your family file, we inform you regarding the day
and time of the telephone interview. Please ring her/him at
the agreed time and day. She/he is waiting by the phone! Do
not ring her/him prior to the arranged time without the permission
of the agency, as she/he may not be prepared for the call.
6. If either party declined the match
after the telephone interview, we would proceed with finding
another suitable candidate.
7. On the acceptance by both parties,
we will request the booking of flights. An 'Welcome Letter'
is then sent to the applicant for confirmation of placement.
